The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Executive Report can be generated for a PCI scan, giving you the ability to view and download this report. This report includes your overall PCI compliance status, the PCI compliance status for each scanned host, and the scan configuration settings used in the PCI option profile.
Important: Starting September 1st, 2010, this report can no longer be used to demonstrate compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard. The PCI Security Standards Council released new Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) requirements on March 16, 2010; these changes are detailed here. Please use the Share with PCI feature to share a PCI scan with your PCI Merchant account in order to generate a PCI network report and complete the required actions for PCI certification.
The PCI Executive Report contains the following sections:
The following options are available from the File menu:
Print. Click to print your report. Your printed report will appear as it does online, meaning that expanded sections will appear expanded and collapsed sections will appear collapsed.
Download. Click to download and save your report as a PDF document. The service will automatically expand individual host details before saving your report.
When Report Share is enabled, the report is downloaded to your system and also saved to Report Share. The report is launched in PDF format with the same input parameters and vulnerability data as the original report. The report is automatically saved to Report Share and you're prompted by the browser to either open the file or save it to your system. This enables users with Report Share to save the same report with the same data in different formats. Keep in mind that since the report is saved to Report Share, it will be counted against your disk limit quota. If the report already exists in PDF format in Report Share, then you are prompted to either download the existing report or overwrite it.
