Reports may be downloaded to multiple formats. The workflows for downloading reports depend on whether Report Share is enabled in your account. You can tell if Report Share is enabled by selecting Report on the left menu. If enabled, the report history list appears. If not enabled, the report templates list appears.
When Report Share is enabled, users launch reports for a selected format. Completed reports are saved in the requested format and they are available for viewing from the report history list. When you select File > Download from within an HTML report, the report is downloaded to your system and also saved to Report Share.
Reports saved in HTML format may be downloaded to another format. When you choose to download an existing HTML report in another format, the report is launched in the new format with the same input parameters and vulnerability data as the original report. The report is automatically saved to Report Share and you're prompted by the browser to either open the file or save it to your system. This enables users with Report Share to save the same report with the same data in different formats. Keep in mind that since the report is saved to Report Share, it will be counted against your disk limit quota.
If you select a format for the report that already exists in Report Share, then you are prompted to either download the existing report or overwrite it. Note that temporary reports are not saved to Report Share. Thus, if you created a temporary report by clicking "Test" in a report template to preview the output, then the report is not saved to Report Share when you download it.
When Report Share is not enabled, users run reports without specifying a report format. Completed reports appear in HTML. Reports may be downloaded from HTML to another format using File > Download. The Download link on the report templates list allows you to run a report and download it to a selected format in one step.
