Follow the procedure below to cancel a scan in progress. Managers are allowed to cancel any running scan, regardless of which user launched or scheduled the scan. Unit Managers are allowed to cancel their own scans as well as scans launched by other users in their business unit. Scanners are only allowed to cancel their own scans.
1. Select Scan from the left menu.
2. Identify the scan you want to cancel, and click . To cancel multiple scans, select the check box next to each scan you want to cancel and then select Cancel from the Actions menu. Then click Apply.
A message appears asking you to confirm the action.
3. Click Yes.
4. When scheduling a scan, you have the option to specify the maximum running time for the scan in hours. If the time limit is reached, the scan will be canceled automatically by the system. To learn more about this option, see Scheduling Scans.
