In the Display Settings section of your map report template, identify how much host information to include in the report.
Determine the sorting method for hosts in your map report. You can sort results by any of the following: IP address, DNS hostname, NetBIOS hostname, router or operating system.
Determine what additional, related information you want to include for each host in the report.
Last Scan Date. Select to display the date the host was last scanned.
Asset Groups. Select to display a list of asset groups containing the host.
Authentication Records. Select to display a list of authentication records containing the host. Authentication records contain credentials that the scanning engine uses to log into hosts at scan time in order to perform authenticated trusted scanning. To learn more, read About Trusted Scanning.
Discovery Method. Select to display the discovery methods used to identify open services on each host. When selected, you can expand host details in your report to see a list of open services detected on the host with the discovery method used to identify each service. If available, the port number where the service is running is also listed. See Discovery Methods for more information.
