When the Policy Compliance (PC) module is enabled for the subscription, then hosts that are in the subscription may be added to the PC module, making them available for compliance management tasks.
The privilege to add hosts to the PC module is granted to all Managers automatically. Managers may grant Unit Managers this privilege by editing a Unit Manager's account and selecting both of the following permissions: Add assets and Manage compliance.
To view the number of hosts that you're allowed to add to the PC module, go to Help > Account Info and expand the Policy Compliance (PC) Summary section.
Follow the steps below to add hosts that are already in the subscription to the PC module. Note the service provides a one-step method for adding hosts to the subscription and to the PC module. To learn more, see Adding Hosts.
1. Select Host Assets from the left menu, under Tools.
2. Select the check box next to each host you want to add to the PC module. You can select individual IPs or ranges of IPs.
3. Select Add to PC module from the Actions menu, and then click Apply.
4. The Add Hosts to PC Module window appears. The hosts you've selected appear automatically in the Assigned IPs list. You can make changes to this list by adding more IPs to the list or removing IPs from the list.
5. Click Add.
