Edit host information to specify how hosts should be tracked, assign ownership responsibilities, provide values for the three user-defined host attributes and add comments.
Whenever host information is edited, the action is logged in the Action Log section of the Host Information page with the name of the user who performed the action and a time stamp for when the action took place. To see the action log, select for the host you're interested in and then expand the Action Log section.
1. Select Host Assets from the left menu, under Tools.
2. To edit a single host, identify the host you want to change and click . To perform a batch edit on multiple hosts, select the check box to the left of each host you want to change, select Edit from the Actions menu, and then click Apply.
3. Define host attributes and add host comments. When performing a batch edit, you must select the check box next to each host attribute you want to change. The specified value will be set for all hosts in the batch edit, overriding any previously set values. The value is set to NULL if you select a check box and then leave the field blank.
