When scheduling maps and scans, you have the option to automatically observe Daylight Saving Time (DST). When this option is enabled, the service automatically adjusts the start time for your scheduled task twice a year to reflect the current local time. Your local time is determined by the Time Zone selection in the scheduled task. The Time Zone menu options show the GMT shift as well as location (Country, State, Province, City, etc).
For locations that never observe DST, such as Arizona and Hawaii, the option to automatically observe DST is not available. In these locations, time is the same during Standard Time and Daylight Saving Time. A time zone may include some locations that observe DST and some locations that do not observe DST. For this reason, it's important that you make the correct Time Zone selection in your scheduled task.
