Note: This feature is only available in subscriptions with Report Share enabled. See About Report Share for more information.
All reports that you create are available to you on the report history list in your account. Depending on your user role, you may also have access to reports created by other users. Reports are distributed automatically by the service in this way: Managers have access to all reports created by all users in the subscription, and Unit Managers have access to all reports created by users in their business unit. If the compliance module is enabled for your subscription, then Auditors have access to all compliance reports (based on compliance scan data) created by all users in the subscription. Scanners and Readers do not have access to reports created by other users.
Managers, Unit Managers and Auditors have the ability to grant report access privileges to users who wouldn't be distributed a report automatically by the service as described above. For example, a Manager can grant report access to a Scanner for a report that the Manager created. Similarly, a Unit Manager can grant report access to a Reader in the business unit for a report created by a different Reader in the same business unit.
When a user is granted permission to access a report in this way, the user can view all report content even if the IPs in the report are not in the user's account. Additionally, Auditors may be granted permission to access reports based on vulnerability scan data even though Auditors by default only have visibility into compliance scan data.
The following table provides information about user roles that can grant report access privileges.

Report access privileges may be granted for a single completed report from Report Share or for all reports generated from a particular scan report template. When the report access privilege is given to a user, the report appears automatically on the report history list in the user's account. The user can then view and download the report from the report history list. When a user is added to the user access list in a scan report template, then the user may also receive a report notification email each time a report is generated from the template. The email notification is sent only to users with the notification option enabled in their account.
Select Report on the left menu. Identify the completed report that you're interested in and click . The Report Information page appears. Expand the User Access section and click the Add button to add users to the access list. Click Apply after adding users. The users in the access list can view the report in the user's report history list.
Select Report Templates, under Tools. Identify the scan report template that you're interested in and click . Click Advanced and then select the User Access tab. Click the Add button to add users to the access list. Then click Save to save your changes to the template. The users added to the access list can view all reports generated from this template. Users view the finished report on the report history list and may also be notified when the report is available if the report notification option is enabled in the user's account. Managers and Unit Managers can revoke a report from the view of a user that they added to the access list in a template by removing the user from the access list of the completed report in Report Share.
