Editing Templates

You have the ability to create report templates in your account based on your user role and subscription settings. Report template settings determine what information is included in the report and how that information is displayed.

 

To create a template:

1.    Go to the report templates list. For subscriptions with Report Share enabled, select Report Templates under Tools. For subscriptions without Report Share enabled, select Report from the left menu.

2.    Go to the New menu and select the type of template you want to create. Your options are: Scan Template, Patch Template, Policy Template (available when the compliance module is enabled), Map Template and Consultant Template (available when the Consultant service is enabled).

3.    Enter the template settings. Click the Help button within the template for assistance with configuring the settings.

4.    Click Save. Your template appears in the report templates list. You can run this template at any time to generate a report.
