Provide a title, change the owner, and set default and global options for the option profile.
Enter a descriptive name for the option profile. The title may contain letters, numbers, hyphens, and periods with a maximum of 64 characters. The title is case-sensitive.
Note: The Owner menu is only visible to Managers and Unit Managers. The owner can only be changed in user-created option profiles.
When creating a new option profile or compliance profile, the user creating the profile is automatically set as the owner (no other options appear on the Owner menu). Managers and Unit Managers have the option to change the profile owner. To change the owner, first save the profile and then edit the profile. On the Edit page, select a different user from the Owner menu. The possible assignees listed in the Owner menu depends on the global status of the profile, the role of the manager making the change, and the current owner's role and business unit. For compliance profiles, only users with compliance management privileges are listed as possible assignees.
Global option profiles may be owned by Managers and Unit Managers.

Changing the option profile owner may lead to conflicts with scheduled tasks. Conflicts occur when an option profile is no longer available to the owner of a scheduled task in which the option profile is selected.
After you save the option profile with the new owner, a confirmation page appears with messages to assist you in resolving conflicts with scheduled tasks. Click the View Report button to view a list of scheduled tasks affected by the change. Then edit each scheduled task to change the option profile selection. If the scheduled task is left without a valid option profile before the next scheduled run time, then the scheduled task is automatically deactivated and the task owner is notified by email.
Tip: If you're changing the owner to a Manager or Unit Manager, then you may consider making the option profile global before making the change. This way you can avoid conflicts and allow users to continue using the profile.
Note: This option does not apply to compliance profiles.
(Manager Only) Select this option to make this profile the default option profile, which will be made globally available to all users when launching maps and scans. When generating scan reports, you'll have the option to only consider results produced with the default option profile. There is only one default profile for the subscription.
Note that the default option profile may only be owned by a Manager user. To make an option profile owned by a Scanner or Unit Manager the default option profile, first change the owner of the profile to a Manager user. Then select the default option.
(Manager and Unit Manager Only) Managers can select this option to make the option profile globally available to all users in the subscription. Unit Managers can select this option to make the option profile globally available to all users in their business unit. If you clear this option at a later time, the option profile will no longer be available to sub-users.
Note that all users with permission to create option profiles can save personal copies of global profiles published by their Managers in order to use them as the basis for new option profiles.
