You can group controls into sections to provide structure to your compliance policy. For example, you may want to organize controls into sections based on control categories like "Access Control" and "Network Security". Add as many sections as you like and put those sections in any order.
Click the Add Section button on the top menu bar to add a new section to the compliance policy. The section is automatically added to the end of the policy. You can move the section up in the policy by changing the section number.
Provide a title for each section by clicking on the text "Type the section title here...". Then enter a section title in the pop-up that appears. To change the section title, click on the title again and enter a new title in the pop-up.
To re-order the sections in your compliance policy, click on the section number and then enter a new number in the pop-up that appears. For example, change section 3 to section 1 to move it up in the list.
The controls added to each section are automatically numbered also. Controls listed in section 1 are numbered 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and so on. Controls listed in section 2 are numbered 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and so on. To change the order of the controls in a section, click the control number and then enter a new number in the pop-up that appears. For example, change control 1.4 to 1.1 to move it up in the section. You can also move a control from one section to another section in the policy. For example, change control 1.1 to 2.1 to move it from section 1 to section 2.
To remove a section from the compliance policy, click Section for the specific section you want to remove.
